the nordland

well right now i am sitting in a hotel in st.paul about to pack my bags and come on down to texas. my mother and i have driven the bug from connecticut to sandstone, mn and the last leg of the journey is about to take us home. the place that i am about to live is pretty sweet and the town closest to me is seriously going to be like northern exposure, no joke. the center is cool and they get about 60% of the power from wind, solar and geothermal production. also they have the first FSC (Forest Stewadship Council) certified forest in minnesota. and they produce there own maple syrup have two owls, a bald eagle, a kestrel, raven and another eagle that is very pretty. on another note the lake that borders the place became unfrozen only two weeks ago...yikes! ill be back in town on friday and i have some pictures that i do not know how to put on here but will figure it out. peace and love
