well i thought that i would go ahead and make it three in a row. as you all know i came to the audubon center a few weeks ago and it has been a great time so far. there was a bit of craziness that started when summer camp was going on but after that it has chilled down a bit. this has been great for me as i am starting to train for a 10k (maybe half marathon) in september. im shooting for at most 7 minute miles so we will see how that goes. however i did by some running shorts so it is getting pretty darn serious. also during my tenure here i have recently been promoted. i am now the assistant adventure coordinator so that is very exciting. i will still be doing the environmental education stuff but now have more responisbility!!! I even got a raise from 80 dollars a week to 160. yeah thats right i have hit the big time. so when you think about the number of hour i have been working lately, 100ish a week, i am almost to the two dollar an hour mark. please done be jealous it just makes things akward. on the nature side of things i have been seeing a lot of bald eagles and ospreys fishing in the lake as well as repeatedly startling foxes and deer when i run. those foxes are just so fluffy! also on the fourth i went down to a local climbing spot and met some new friends so hopefully i can get a little climbing under my belt while there is not ice on the ground. anyways check out the pics and sorry i have not called many people since being here, i realize that i often suck at keeping in touch so i am making a concerted effort to be better. also the folks at the marathon house should be watching out for a package, its not much but it doesnt give you cavities. :) everyone else just wait your turn. also travis and ashlee i need your new address stat!!!
